What's on the boob tube? September 11th 2024

I don't think we have watched one thing today that wasn't cast full of Brits. We watched episodes of Top Gear earlier. Although they were more in the background for me while I worked. And now we are watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. We started watching a HP movie a night a few nights ago. And since I forgot they were so long, we have only been able to fit one in each night. Which is okay with me. HBO has announced they are making a TV show based on the books/movies. I haven't read a lot about it but know they have issues a casting call and are looking for kid actors aged 9-11. So I am assuming they will be playing the main cast. So that's what's going on tonight as far as entertainment goes. I'm sure @FourWalls is watching a game, but what is everyone else doing for entertainment tonight?

I watched an old Sci Fi film from the 80s called Dark Angel. Not bad. I saw that the HP series had made the news here, something to do with casting. Not being a fan of HP, I didn't read pas the headlines

@thislittlepennyearns I believe there is, but the Dark Angel I watched was a rampaging space alien. I could see Driver as a Rickman look-a-like

Don't feel bad, I am a fan and didn't read past the headlines. I did hear that Adam Driver who was in the newer Star Wars movies is set to reprise Alan Rickman's role so that should be interesting. Isn't there a Dark Angel TV show too?

She child is learning about it for the first time really this year in History class, because shes a middle schooler now.
