Gas prices up in California. Wait! Now they're down!

For several months during the Summer, gas prices here were steady. At my discount station, they were at $4.59. $3.99 in the barrio. $4.89 at the Chevron right by the freeway.
Then, over a three week period, they "skyrocketed" to $4.89 at my discount station.
But this morning, they're down to $4.85 at my discount station.
I decided to do some math. Every time I drive to Mike's house (I should say drove, shouldn't i?) I use(d) up two gallons. The hike in gas prices means it cost me an extra sixty cents to drive to his house for our last few practices.
I guess that won't adversely affect my life.
Are gas prices moving about where you live?

I don't doubt they are. It's all based on oil prices.

@TheHorse I don't know, but I know that when there's a pogo affect at the punp, the price of oil is directly related.

I have heard that they are going up and down. But I don“t much mind. I sold my car.

@TheHorse It only hurts me when I buy gas cylinders in winter.

They were way down. I will find out what they are when I'm out today. Have a good weekend.

$2.87 is what it was two days ago when we filled up.

@TheHorse You might never say never.
But that among many many other reasons is why I'll never live in California again. Although I do want to come visit @spiderdust . Someones gotta make sure she's still alive.

Looks like the barrio is the best place to get gas. 60 cents is 60 cents.
