I spent an hour talking to a customer service rep trying to get my Straight Talk Phone turned back on.
Customer service told me they couldn't do anything. The system wasn't letting them do what they needed to do.
After thirty minutes of them making excuses after I had already been dealing with them for an hour.
I decided the phone probably wasn't active anymore, since it hasn't been reloaded in three or four months.
So I went through the activation process online. And in two minutes, it was fixed and working again.
They changed my number of course. But hey I've got phone service again.
@AmbiePam this means I have to send you my new number. Again!
Stupid Straight Talk.

I've found that most providers make everything avaible online and most things you can do yourself. And, at any point did they ask you when the last time you used your number or had it loaded it was?

That's not the point. I was told I had to contact customer service because service had run out. Then they put me through an hour and a flippin' half.

@thislittlepennyearns And, yet you were able to fix it online, yourself. Yeah. They should've asked you about the problem and help you diagnose it. I try not to speak to customer service unless I have to, and I'm armed and ready. Oh yeah, I make them earn that paycheck.

It was annoying. I wrote them an email and told themhow I felt about them too.

Stupid phone service for sure. There is a cricket building here and if I have any problem with my cell phone I go right to them.

I wish Cricket got good enough service here for us to switch. There is a Cricket in town.
Straight Talk doesn't have any in person people. It's annoying. But its the only phone company we get service everywhere we go. And I can use as a hotspot at the house if internet goes out.
