Today has been a long day of laundry and placing orders online. We were down to one gallon of milk and I had to search two stores to find some. Needless to say I found some. We also had someone come to the door with a box. The box was the syringes I ordered. Thankfully, I'd been smart and ordered a large suply off of Amazon some time ago. I'm thankful I did because the VVa isn't very reliable. I'm glad the syringes came anyway and I'll use them still.
The worst of the storm has yet to hit but we've been getting stronger winds and of course rain bands. Other than that we're still fine.

A little late. It's right within the cone. It'll make landfall in the big bend. Those folks are in for a wet one. Parts of Florida are already under water.

She made landfall around Talahassee Florida a little after 11 pm last night. While they suffered the worst (taking a direct hit) we're still dealing with the winds left behind.

The national weather service names them when they reach Tropical storm Status. It helps medoroligists keep track of what storm is doing what, and helps the people know what is and isn't a threat.
