Yeah...talked 3 hours to my friend Mary. Mostly I listened..and she had to put me on hold twice. Thank goodness I started my laundry before she called. Love her to death, but after about an hour I am done. LOL I did send her some things from Facebook. She doesn't watch much news, and when she does she watches CBS or CNN...LOL.She will NOT even look at Fox. We agree on a lot of things, and if she would just listen to the Right once in a while...she would see that she really is NOT a Democrat. LOL...For Real. We agree on the Economy and taxes...we agree on Abortion...we agree on kids being transitioned...we agree on the right to bear arms, and freedom of speech...oh..and we agree the border should be closed. LOL For the Life of me I can't understand how she can't see that what she truly believes in is what Republicans believe. But...she has always been a Democrat, and her parents were Democrats, but what she doesn't get through her head is...the Democratic party...is really not the one they were or even she IS. My grandmother was a Democrat...but I KNOW she would NOT be one today. She was a Christian and the things that are going on and supported by the Dems would not set well with her. Mary and I have been friends since we were 6 years old. She has a right to believe as she believes, and we really do not talk a LOT of politics. In other words we can talk about things, but we do not bring Parties into the conversation to substanuate what we are talking about. Not sure you understand...we can talk about Drag Queens reading/preforming for kids without blaming the Dems OR the Repubs for anything...we just talk about the fact we BOTH do not think it is right. Sorry for the long post..just explaining how we can ALL talk about things we do not think are good or bad without bringing in political parties. It is called having a conversation which is what people need to start doing...we might find we have more In Common than Not in common.

I avoid talking politics. I am a Democrat; and that doesn't sit well with a lot of people here. Have a good week.

I would never known what party you associate with..IMO it doesn't matter...what matters is that things change for the better for the Country.

From your post it seems that those hours of conversation were mainly about politics. There are people I love with thich I don“t talk about politics or religion. I would not sell them my beliefs and I know that they would not sell me theirs.

I don't see our conversation about politics...when I think of talking about politics, I think about people saying things like..The Republicans are doing this or the Demos are doing that. We talked only about policies and how we Feel about things that are going on such as the economy, health care, insurance, Illegal Immigrants and how the border needs to be closed. Though we are from different parties...we have the same ideas and agree on so many things. We agreed that we will NOT be talking politics as to what each party SHOULD be doing. We just talk about things in general, and I see we agree on so many things. I think there are a LOT of people that if they just talked and never mentioned what party they support, that they would find that they DO really agree on many things that are going on.

Well, guess the whole time was spent discussing politics. There are many aspects to politics and like you pointed out , we could end up talking for long hours on the same . And interesting 3 hours! I had posted a discussion few days on the longest time spent on phone! Personally , I have spent 4 hours and on that day we spent talking everything under the sun. The phone got disconnected at 2 hours and we connected again and then spoke for another 2 hours and then again for few minutes. It was as if we were talking after a long time but that was never the case. Guess both of us felt lonely and wanted to talk a lot of things. Well, then enjoy your week!
