This is one of the rivalries of Starbucks Coffee Shop, I think the problem with Coffee Bean they can't get the right spot inside the mall or in any establishment. They always gets the corner area if not they are inside the department store of a mall, I don't know if their marketing staff are making the right choice about it... but anyway when it comes to Starbucks they always get the front area, the best view and the most crowded store locations. Coffee Bean is my second favorite coffee shop in the Philippines, but I am not really comfortable, I don't know why, but maybe because of the ambiance? Its not really comfy, and the staff are not really that approachable? maybe because Starbucks staff are always smiling and know how to talk to the customer fondly.. I think in every businesses setting the right ambiance for their target market is very important. Or maybe I am not their target market, maybe they are more on to the high society, because on other branches Coffee Bean looks like a fine dining restaurant. But it really has a nice place, and great coffee also. How about you, where do you usually go?
