What I like About Our Country?

We endure, Filipinos are known for being a kind-hearted people, who loves to help and generously give what we can give to make everyone's living okay. But of course in any places we cannot rule out those who are corrupt and greedy people, we also have those people inside our country. But Philippines? Our god fearing and great leaders and people have a big heart for others: 1. Holocaust. Even though we know its dangerous but we open our doors to those Jewish people fleeing from Nazi Germany. But sadly soon after that, we were captured by Japanese, and we were abandoned by the American military, but they came back, but the battle was almost won by our own men. 2. Korean War. We are not yet recovering from that war, our 900 military men was sent to Korea, to help and defend its people, from China and North Korea, we lost 2 of our great commanders and other soldiers, but still we helped and fight for the people of Korea, until we won the battle with the Korean people. 3. During Covid, though we were divided on the government decision, but we still open doors for chinese people running away from china due to covid, thinking they also need help, even though we also need help; and knowing how their government harassing us by wrongly claiming our own territory. 4. We are the only Country in Asia who voted for the establishment of the state of Israel. Maybe we are part of the third world country, and was harassed and captured by war before, but my our people and leaders before show us a good example on how to endure and give a helping hand to those who are in need, and above all that we were raised with faith to the only living God, Jesus Christ.
