This morning, I took the bus to the other side of town to the Grocery Outlet. I got quite a few things. I still have $20 left on my EBT (food stamp) card. I had one of the refrigerator shelves out on the floor because I was trying to clean it, and then couldn't get it back in. ....... Jeez...I was putting things away, and tried to get something in the freezer, when a frozen package of meat fell out right onto the glass shelf that I had taken out to clean and shattered it. I called the office to get maintenance, and was told they would send maintenance but that there would be a charge for the shattered glass. So, the maintenance guy came and went out to wherever to get new glass, and then came back, replaced the glass, and put the shelf back in the refrigerator. Sigh. Even though it was the frozen meat's fault, I felt like a dummy. I said something to that effect, and the maintenance guy said, "It's okay, it's okay." I mean, it could have happened to anyone, right? The "dots" up there are to separate the time the maintenance guy was here from when I could get back on the comptuer. 4,699 steps so far today. At least there's that.
