Pre-Diwali decoration / myLot

Tomorrow is Diwali - the festival of lights. However, today is hectic for every Indian households, who are mostly busy cleaning and lighting and decorating their houses. We too maintain the tradition & have been busy with these chores, since morning.

A lot of preparations going on here as well. Yesterday, on the occasion of Dhanteras(denoting prosperity, health and long life) we bought a Copper bottle and Broom. Today, we bought flowers, Diyas(small Clay lamps), some eatables and a few more decorating things. Even though I have a few days off, it is not enough to get good rest. I might try to get good rest for a few days after Diwali.
