I am thankful for Sundays with my husband. For 42 years, ever since we started dating, we have spent Sundays together: going to church, praying, worshiping, and seeking God together. I have had many of those years with him as my pastor. I am so proud that Ronnie Knight is my pastor and husband and friend. Our Sunday afternoons are spent binge watching our favorite tv shows together. Sunday is my favorite day and I am so thankful that God loved me enough to allow me to spend them with my husband. The lyrics to Brandon Lake's song, Gratitude, comes to mind: "So I throw up my hands And praise You again and again 'Cause all that I have is a Hallelujah, hallelujah And I know it's not much But I've nothing else fit for a King Except for a heart singing Hallelujah, hallelujah" Who else sings Hallelujah to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
