I am thinking of resigning

I have been here in Jeddah for almost 15 years. I am thinking of resigning because I want to have a fresh environment. My colleagues are even pushing me and talking me into resigning because they strongly believe I deserve a better opportunity because of my credentials. They don't understand why I am still in the same company for quite a long time. They said that if they were me, they would definitely find a much better opportunity.

I wonder, if everyone saw your potential, what has kept you in the company for this long? Anyway... good luck for better and awesome-er opportunity in the future :)

You have to be willing to do right for yourself. Don't listen to others. I am sure most people have good intentions, but they don't know you and your situation so may not know the best thing for you. Only you know that.

I would find the opportunities first before actually resigning. I wish you the best with whatever you decide for your future!

You do what is best for you. Make sure you have something solid before you quit. Have a good week.

If you think there is no nothing to learn or grow in the company , yes you can resign. However, it would be better to find a job that you like and then resign. Job hunting without an offer in hand could sometimes be stressful. After working almost 15 years , you may have saved enough money to survive without job for sometime. However, it would be best to search for a job and get the job offer in hand and then resign from your company. Just because your friends or near and dear ones asked you to quit, do not resign. Evaluate yourself , your skills and job market and then make the decision. Good luck!
