That day might be my bad day. While lifting the boiling water for my son's morning bath, my feet slipped with water droplets on the floor. And byuuur...a pot of water poured over my body. Oh my God, from my chest to my thighs it feels so hot I didn't know what to do, I asked my husband to turn on the fan. Once it cools down a bit, immediately change clothes and head to the hospital

You know the longer you wait the worse the burns will get. You're looking at easily second degree easily from boling water.

You're right, I was shocked and needed a little time to calm down and think. According to the doctor, the burns due to hot water were already level 3 and reached 35%

@buDian Yeah. When you stop to think about it, a water's boiling point is 100 degrees C or 212°F. So it would have to be at or above those numbers to boil. That's hot.

@kaylachan That's right... in the hospital they only give ointment. The next day air bubbles filled with water appeared all over the body when exposed to hot water

I plan to put the water in a large bucket and add cold water to make it warm water for bathing the children

Usually, we need to use cold water with ice to prevent scalding of the skin further.

The skin affected by the burn has now healed, leaving a little color as a marker

You're right, I should have done that. but because of my ignorance at that time, and in a state of shock and panic, I could only think of fanning it with a fan so that the burning sensation on my skin would immediately disappear.

It's a learning experience. Last I accidentally touch soldering iron. But pulled out right away, good thing there was no skin burns. I remembering getting poured hot water, terrible.
