I'm going again...

I went to check the mail--there was nothing whatsoever in the box, so I came right back.
I saw my friend's dog up on the balcony, so I stopped to look up and say hello to him. I didn't see my neighbor coming up behind me, so she surprised me. She was coming over to invite me over for Thanksgiving dinner, and apologized for being late in doing so.
Now I can use the little plant I bought this morning (pictured) as a hostess gift. 
When I was out I bought it "just in case" I was invited over. She said to come over at one. Nice thing is, I only have to walk five or six yards (?) to get to where I'm going, and I don't have far to get home, either!
