Guavas

Guavas are loaded with vitamin C.
We had four guava trees and yes they are all gone. When they were yielding we had a feast. We even did not bother about one type that were tiny. I used to make guava toffee, juice, guava jelly and even ice cream.
All that is history now. I am trying to grow a guava tree but that is not survivintg for reasons not known

I grew up eating guavas because we had guava trees at home. However, my parents had to remove them to expand our house. I miss those days when we had fruit-bearing trees in our yard.

maybe it needs different climate to grow? i hope you get it to grow.
i never tried guava, only some guava juice. i didn't like it.

The probolem is I have several wild trees growing in my garden which I have retained.
