Christmas memories #2 Christmas stockings

Many years ago I started making Christmas stockings for our kids and later, grandkids.
The first had Tammy and Robert 's names cross stitched at the top, then a green and black one for Dale (our family hunter.)
Mine is a very pretty blue and silver one.
When Kristin was born, I made a beautiful frilly pink one, but later realized that thing was way too big! It took too much stuff to fill it up, so I cut it down a little.
I made a new stocking every time a new grandchild was born or a new daughter in law or son in law was added. Then I took down stockings when in laws were "removed" lol.
I even made one for our pets over the years.
Lots of great memories. Do you put up stockings for Christmas?

@AmbiePam That's a glass ball that has the recording Nathan made and his photo. It's one of my favorites. His little voice is so sweet.

No. I doubt I will decorate this year anyway. I have made needlepoint stockings as gifts before but only have a couple of small felt ones in a box somewhere. Have a good week.

This will be the second Christmas at our daughter's and she didn't put up stockings, so I think I'll give everyone their stocking to take home. It's kind of sad.

Yes, I do.The pets have their own. Of course they require some assistance with their stocking presents.

My relatives and myself have never put up stockings for Christmas due to lack of money.

That is a wonderful ornament, Nope never put up any stockings, Latvians have the tradition of opening presents on Christmas Eve, In Latvia I combined eve and day by serving dinner at 10 PM Christmas Eve and then present opening and such at midnight which was Christmas Day,
