and had over 2,000 steps by the time I came home (of course, that started with steps walking through/around the apartment. Can't tell the exact number of steps, because my phone is not cooperating and won't let me see. I got out the tree, cleared off the end table to put the tree on it, then noticed the tree wouldn't stand straight. Looking down, I noticed that part of the stand was missing. I'll go look in the closet to see if I can find it. If not, I'll just leave the tree so it 's up against the bookshelf, and hopefully none of the ornaments is heavy enough to make it fall (I don't think they are) and I'll just decorate the side of the tree that shows. After I got the tree out, I made hummingbird food, as the feeder was almost empty. After I look in the closet for the other part of the tree stand, I'll come out and work on my cross stitch.
