Longer day than usual...

Our regular pastor was back, but it was still the guest pastor who spoke. His church was there, too. We're both small churches, so it worked out.
After the service was over, I stayed and let my surrogate mom, who usually drives me home, go home herself without having to drop me off.
An hour (or two?) later, I was wondering if I should walk home, when the folks from the other church started packing up, and I don't remember how it happened, but a lady from the other church was asked if she would drive me home, and she said "Sure, but only if you come out to lunch with us."
We went to the local Denny's, and we had a good time eating and talking. By the time we left it was dark, (I thought it was later because I'm not used to the daylight savings being over yet). The lady who took me and the three young people out dropped the pastor's son off first, then drove me home.
It was a really enjoyable evening. I didn't get anything done that I mentioned in my "Good morning" post, but it's nice to do something different every now and again.
I hope that you all have had a great morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land!

Sometimes you just need out of the house and break from your normal routine.

that was so nice. it doesn't matter if you didn't do things you mentioned in your other post. i think what happened was enjoyable and that you made some nice memories - and that's what matters
