Watching news disturbs me

I have cut down on watching news as what I hear and watch is not something that brings cheer to me. I am particularly talking about how the ruling party runs down the opposition left, right and centre.
Because they are in the majority none can fight them down. I only hope one day they will be defeated and when that happens news will be my main pass time

There was a folk singer named John Prine who had the best advice about news I’ve ever heard contained in the lyrics of one of his songs: “blow up your TV, throw away your papers.”

Good advice. We no longer buy the newspaper but about the TV I need it to watch other shows
