Would you return a scratched thermos or thing?

I recently bought a thermos because I need to keep my tea warm. I have to travel soon. I noticed that it's very useful and it keeps the water warm for several hours. But it has 5 scratches. And it was a new product, but it came without a box. It has a huge scratch and the rest seem a bit hidden, but it has many scratches. Aa a thermos is useful, but I can't stand those scratches. Would you keep it or would you return it? The thermos is red and glossy, I think it will be scratched in the future. But it's a new product and I had higher expectations. Now I don't know what to do. I have 14 days to return it. Would you keep it or return it?

I’d return it for a new one. There is no excuse for them sending it to you in such bad shape.

I started to think that all of them were scratched. I asked a seller before the holidays if the products are new and I have never received an answer.

I hope it's new, maybe it was damaged because of shipping but it's the sender's responsibility to pack it carefully. However, it sounds like it works just fine. Then if I'm in a hurry because I have to travel soon, I wouldn't bother returning it. So I would keep it.

The shipping was very good, it was carefully packed. But they put a small piece of paper to cover those scratches. They sent it like that. I think I will keep it. I noticed that if I touch it it gets scratched very easily. I am not in a hurry to travel soon, but maybe all of them are scratched. I saw people complaining because they received scratched things too. And I have to pay if I want to return it.

I am sorry it is scratched..you are not having luck. Yes I would return for a refund if it would not cost me money.

Yes, I am not having good luck. I have to pay a fee if I want to return it. They tried to hide the scratches with something. They put a small piece of paper to cover those scratches.

you paid for it - so you can return it and ask for your money back or another thermos that's in a good shape.

Before ordering a new one I made a mistake. I asked another seller if their products were new or scratched. I have never received an answer. Maybe all of them are scratched. At least I think they should answer my question because I asked this before the holidays.
