TV Commerical describing disease (neurological?)

June 12, 2006 11:33am CST
An elderly man describes symptoms of a disease he has which limited his ability to walk and move around. He discusses this as he is now (after treatment) while his old self is shown on screen bearly able to walk. He gives the name of the disease and treatment administered, grabs his old sick self by the arm and helps accross the room. He then says "this was me then and this is me now "and walks normally accross the room. My Dad is sick and I think this may be the disease he has, but I don't know the name. HELP!

It could be Alzheimer. There are some cures for it but the patiant can not ever gain his full capacity. During this deasease the patients brain is shutting down in a way. Loosing information that can not be gained. If you can always and as quickley go to a doctor. The treatment can only slow the the prosses. I truley am sorry
