George surprised me.

We just came in from being outside. After yesterday I expected today to be more of the same, but George decided he wanted to put in some effort today. He went out with his sweatshirt, but because of the sun we really didn't need it. He ended up taking it off outside. I even got trash out and got the mail, too.I don't know if we'll go out again, but to see him put on pants and put fourth effort on some level is good. He even consistantly said Pepsi today instead of calling it coke. So, it's a good day.

@rakski Yeah. He slept so much yesterday and into this morning that he's been awake and active all day. I joke about him having more energy, but of course he doesn't notice.

Pepsi and Coke are two popular and compeating soda brands. While they look simular, they do taste slightly different. I like to drink Coke, and George likes Pepsi. After the stroke, he started mixing up words. He would say one word and mean something else entirely. For example, because I drink Coke, and he sees my Coke bottles He'll often say Coke when he actually wants Pepsi. Today he actually asked for Pepsi and said it correctly.

Well, thats a good sign and great improvement. He has put efforts to get going , so that definitely a big plus. I am sure that would have made your day better. I thought Florida was getting more snow these days as per few mylotters and news. Perhaps , I did not do a proper read of the international news. Well, for me , where I am stationed is getting warmer. I have to accept the fact this time it would be harsh and long summer perhaps like last time and that could be challenging in many respects. As far as weekend , got busy with things and well now it would be tough to find relaxation time. Enjoy the weekend!

Parts of Florida do occassionally see snow. It's rare, once about ten years or so. But, it does happen. The panhandle, particulrally the the cities and counties that boarder the state of Georgia will see it more then the ones further south. It fluries and rarely sticks for long.

Glad he is progressing, I found it too cold for me even in the sun, I got my groceries delivered and had to go outside to wait for the driver, Brisk winds around here, I hope you both have a good evening and a nice Sunday,
