Noodles

There was a time at every opportunity I would cook those two minute noodles adding whatever I felt like such as scrambled eggs, and some vegetables. It is a long time now that I no longer feel like eating them. It is amazing how the tongue decides what to have. The problem is what the tongue demands the stomach should also accept. The tongue likes chocolates and deep fried stuff but the stomach starts grumbling. I must admit I tend to please my tongue and then get into trouble What is your choice?

I like chocolate to. I try to eat fresh fruits and vegetables all day to. Plus one serving of meat every day. But chocolate calls out to me. So what can you do but give in and have just a few pieces each day.

Are "noodles" used in Indian cuisine? Or do you mean those instant noodles . . . some kind of ramen. I used to love very spicy foods . . . but my stomach has not been handling it well in recent years . . . and now I seem to choke if I eat them. I will have a little to satisfy the tongue . . . but that's all . . . going through stomach issues are not worth it anymore.

That is so true and relatable. Our taste buds and stomachs may not always agree and sometimes it is a battle or war between the digestion and cravings. I used to be a big-time lover of the 2-minute noodles. But over times, tastes and interests change. One reason is because we realize although it is economical, the health components are not great and there could be issues long terms. I can totally relate to indulging in fried foods and chocolates. It is definitely but sometimes the stomach protests, perhaps later. I do try to balance it out although at times my tongue wins. For my choice, I lean towards normal Indian cuisines which are not spicy. Do not want the stomach to rebel on days I have work. Take care!
