Trump, Putin agree to begin ‘negotiations’ Talks on process of ending Ukraine war. The Kremlin claims that President Mr. Putin invited Mr. Trump to Moscow, but White House officials refuse to specify whether Ukraine will participate in the U.S. talks with Russia or not. In a phone conversation Wednesday, President Donald Trump said that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin had decided to start "negotiations" on ending the war in Ukraine and would "work together, very closely" to achieve it. We discussed the advantages of cooperating in the future as well as the capabilities of our own respective countries.

I don’t trust this any further than I can throw either one of them. Notice how the country being victimized by war — Ukraine — had not been invited to join the talks? That should tell you something.
