That is a plus point with the new set up we have With them involving I hope to see something more in the garden - probably some vegetables.
The weather is prett conducive for growing vegetables and only hope it does not change overnight
I am planning on gettng some Amaranthus seeds - greens that is good for health and cooling too.

Wow!! That's an added advantage. My ridgegourd, tomatoes, brinjal, lettuce and all greens( palak, methi, coriander, mint, lettuce) are doing good. I will check if I have amaranthus seeds. I like the red coloured ones.

@allknowing Today I will harvest brinjals from three veggies growing bags. It should be around 2 kilos, enough for few meals in coming days. With three of us, it is enough brinjal for that.

Looks like a good plan. With both maids interested in gardening, they should have some knowledge and should be helpful with the gardening ideas. Amaranthus looks like a good choice. It is definitely nutritious, easy to grow, less challenges and a big plus is perfect for warm weather. You could try other plants as well which can work in warm weather. Plus , it will help you deal with variety of plants and that should keep you occupied for next 3 months .The way I see it should be very warm for next 3 months. Perhaps the weather would be stable in the next 3 months. Good luck with the gardening!
