There is a cut off time for any challenges we face and once that approaches and the challenge cannot be met the best is to accept the situation and move on To accept anything it takes time but once a decision is made and one decides to move on there cannot be a better situation that guarantees peace It took me time to acceptg my situation when I had met that near fatal accident years ago. I am a brisk walker and today that is not possible Yes. I could not accept this situation for a while but here I am happy as a lark and do walk but with less speed. Happy that I can atleast walk. It could have been worse. What's your story?

You are truly blessed that you can still walk. You have the right attitude.

It is rather amazing that Life has a way of teaching us acceptance. It provides us with challenges we never anticipated and scripts we were not sure of. It is definitely inspiring that you found inner peace despite the limitations your accident brought. Adjusting to a new reality takes lot of time, but your perspective shows true resilience. Even if you walk slow and not as fast as earlier, I would consider that as a victory in itself. Gratitude for what we have instead of dwelling on what we lost makes all the difference. I admire your ability to embrace happiness despite the challenges and the changes. My story is different but then we all had our moments where acceptance leads to peace. Right now, my management is playing unnecessary mind games and targeting with me on my job. But since the job market is bad, I have to live with it till there is a good opening. Thanks for sharing—your journey!

Yes. You have to live with it until some alternative shows up. Look at the brighter side They have not asked you to go.

I'm not very good at accepting things like that. Fortunately nothing major has happened yet.

I guess the fact that I have to take supplements/laxatives for my chronic constipation. Initially it was difficult to accept that a normal bodily function is no longer normal for me; I have to take medicines for it. But yeah I have accepted. However, it has happened so early on (I am 21 yrs) kinda makes it hard to accept sometimes.

@Dreamerby Laxatives should only help bowel movement the normal way but what you are going through is awful. Have you tried carbo veg 30 in homoeopathy?

@allknowing yeah. Consulted homeopathy, alleopathy and ayurvedic. The ayurvedic laxatives works wonders but it causes hindrance in day-to-day activities. I have to be near the washroom throughout the day when I am taking that laxative.
