Swing - a memory

Most have had the swing experience in their childhood and I was no exception
We had swings in our school and some were bold They even stood on the swing and went high and plucked a leaf or two from the mango tree close by I would sit in the swing with them while they did it
Back home we had our own swing which mother hung for us in the empty stable where cows once resided. And that was only during our summer holidays
What has been your experience?

I always loved to swing, too. Two of our grandkids loved it and would swing for hours if we'd let them.

I do not think there is anyone who has not been on a swing in their lifetime

@1creekgirl Some cats love human touch but our Peppie boy though he likes to occupy every place that I use never likes being cuddled.

I loved swings which they came with sand to make sure that we do not hurt ourselves when we fall. However, the new models of the playground no longer include swings and sand. Not sure if the kids these days knew what they are truly missing.

Sand was there too and we played in that sand. Sad today's kids only know to play on mobiles

As a child, I was afraid of swings and only trusted my father to push the swing.

I never used the school swing because I worried a friend would push me too hard.
