Well, that was an unexpected lazy day.

I had one of those rare days where i felt little to no motivation. I had laundry to do, but didn't get to it until about an hour ago. I also got George's stoma site cleaned and I also got his tube flush, all later then I wanted, but I also try to be flexible wherever possible. I have to do those things, and at reasonable times, for his benifit as well as mine. He might hate me flushing his tube, but he benifits greatly from the hydration it provides. And, he gets his iced pepsi, and his milk as well as any other foods or drinks he asks for. Last night it was popcorn.
His formula also arrived today, too. I hate how heavy it is, but I'm thankful it was a cold, windy day. Okay during the day it'd become a warm one, but the high winds made the temps barable. And the fact temps are dropping means I didn't have to worry about sun damage harming the cartons.

Glad you had a relaxed, easy and nice day!!
We got errands knocked out today. That will free up tomorrow for me to do a flea market run before the weekend and tidy up and put some new things out. I still have some tagging to do tonight, but we are making progress on that. Last night I tagged a garbage bag full of clothes for my oldest daughter. I started tagging some things I have for Easter, a set of big, stuffed Easter Bunnies. I have a few other things to do tonight!

I hope you get them done, then. It's later then I'd like, but I have to load the dryer.

I need to work on changing beneficiaries and redoing my will; but I can't decide who is getting what.

George and I haven't started that yet. Since he's in his 60's and especially now that he's had a stroke, we keep getting the advanced directive/living will talk. We're not ready for that, yet. George will tell me when he no longer wants life-saving care.

@LindaOHio Trust me, he willl be able to let me know. From an outsiders perspective, it might've seemed like your husband didn't know you were there, because he wasn't making obvious signs to let you know. However, people with memory-based desises, can let their loved ones know their wishes. You just need to know how to read them and what they were telling you. So, when I say my husband will tell me when he no longer wants life-saving care... I don't mean he'll literally will tell me, but he'll let me know in some way. Bare in mind, both my parents passed at home as was per their wishes. They were able to let us know when they were ready go into hospice, and were able to sign their own advanced directives letting medical staff know they no longer wished life-saving care.
When this decision is made it's often made weeks or months before the person has that life-ending event. While they are having moments of lucidity.
My mother-in-law had altimizers, the most common form of dementia, and told my sister a week before she passed, that she was ready to go, by saying 'no more repairs'. So, you know that if the lines are open and you know your loved one enough, they;'ll let you know well before they enter the activly dying phase of life.

@kaylachan Sometimes your loved ones are not able to tell you what they want or are totally unconscious. My husband suddenly had full-on dementia and wasn't able to even know that I was in the room with him.

Ugh, those low-motivation days hit us all! You still managed to get a ton done, though – good for you for prioritizing George's care even when you weren't feeling your best. And yay for the formula arriving safely! Sounds like you handled everything like a champ.
