In the quest to prove they have a mandate to bring about a 21st century "Great Depression," the trump Administration implements programs that led to the Great Depression of the 20th Century.
-- Protective tariffs to support paranoid suspicions that everyone is taking advantage of the USA.
-- Liquidating government programs designed to provide a safety net, many of which were deployed to dig out from the Great Depression of the last century.
-- Promoting irrational exuberance to distract from corruption happening in literal broad daylight.
-- Outright lying to the public.

At this point someone needs to remind some of these billionaires about the last time someone in power said about the peasants, “Let them eat cake.”
