Today I had biuli dal lentil and rice

Today I had biuli dal lentil and rice. I also had prawn curry with the rice. The prawns are boiled and cooked with potatoes. Buili is one of the soft lentils which add taste and can be eaten with rice.

Sounds like a good wholesome meal with lots of protein packed in the yummy taste. What is this buili daal? I might be knowing it with a different name.

thanks Arunimaji it is called safed urad dal in rest of India. It is the same lentil which is used to make uttapam.
