So I am trying to make the best of everything right now. Everyone keeps telling me not to give up the department yet. Chris went as far this morning as to list everything that I've accomplished just being in for five years this year. My husband says that I'm not allowed to turn my gear in before I get my five year pin because I've earned it. Kristie says that I'm better than quitting and to keep going. So here I am...not giving up. We'll see how that goes. Our training officer is still looking for a TOSHA class for me so that I will have the ability to run for Safety officer. My husband is still going to pump maintenance in September. I'll still take all the classes I can and keep attempting to help more within the department. It's just who I am, I can't NOT help. Today I am not wallowing. Today I am over Chris's with her grandmother. I'll be doing computer work and trying to get a few things finished for the shop. I got foam board over the weekend and I want to try to make little books. I've wanted to do that for the longest time and I'm super excited to do it now. It'll have to wait until after I get this order of rabbits done though. It's a big order and I really want to get them done right. I'm posting more items up for sale on Mercari and Facebook. Hopefully I can clean my house out. I keep adding more to the sale pile faster than I can clear it out. It's a good thing yet a bad thing at the same time because it's taking up space. Some of the clothes though are getting donated. I don't know where to yet but they will be. I'm trying to get back on top of everything. You'd be surprised how fast everything goes down hill after a weekend of depression. Now to play catch up. All in all I think I'm getting a handle on everything though. How is everyone else doing? What are your plans for today?
