Hey, it’s been a while, but that’s life lol. I hope everyone’s doing well. I’m gonna make it an earlier day today. I have a few things to do around the house, and I’d like to get everything done and lie down at a decent time. Then, I can get up even earlier tomorrow. I think my week is going to be business as usual. I’ll work on my writing orders and attend Trivia Night. If trivia is canceled like last week, then hopefully, we can all get together and just play pool at that same bar again. That’s what we did last week. I’m not gonna make it there next week, so I want to get there this week. I’m also hoping to get back into my HubSpot Academy courses. I’ve been taking free courses on email marketing, and I could’ve -AND SHOULD’VE- been done by now. You can take the courses when you want, and it’s time to stop fooling around and get it done, so that I can branch out with my freelance writing. Now, here’s the fun update lol. I’m going to be cat/house sitting for a close friend next week. I’m supposed to head to her home on Sunday and come home on Friday, but depending on what time they plan to leave/arrive home, it may wind up being Saturday-Saturday. They’re paying me (amount is personal, but it’s a decent amount) and stocking the place with food. I just need to take care of the kitty and the house. He’s never been alone for more than 24 hours before, so I’ll be keeping him company and ensuring he has everything he needs. I’m taking my laptop, so I’ll still be working. I’m also going to use the week to try to fix my sleep schedule and time management, since it’ll just be me and the kitty with no distractions. I mean, my sister might come over at some point, but that’s fine. The only downfall is I’ll probably get homesick and miss the dogs, but I’ll be fine. I’ve been through it before with vacations. I’ll be able to get work done (using this time to branch out on my writing teams), get back into (or continue with) HubSpot Academy, and try to build better habits (which I’ll continue when I get back home). Plus, I can earn extra money to put towards some important expenses. Overall, I’m looking forward to the “me time” and hopefully bonding with the kitty. :) I would like to, but that’s up to him. He’s only met me a few times, so I’m gonna let him warm up to me. But yeah, this is why I’m skipping trivia/pool next week. It’s fine, I’ll be back the week after. Alrighty, I’m gonna do some survey sites before heading home. I don’t plan on staying until close today.
