Coconuts - those were the days

Our coconut trees are now old and the yield is on the decline.
When we planted them years ago we had to wait for a few years for them to start yielding and at their prime the trees were loaded as you can see in the photo.
We have 8 trees and they are all yielding but soon we may have to start planting new saplings.
They have given us immense joys all these years and I cannot think of bringing them down if they stop yielding

8 coconut trees is great.
How many coconuts would each tree produce in a year.
Oh and how long does it take for a sampling to become a fruit bearing tree?
What happens to the tree when they stop holding. Does it keep growing?

There are different varieites Ours of T&D - tall and dwarf that started yielding within four to five years. Each tree can yield up to 150 to 200 coconuts in a years
The growh of a tree stops after a few years but it keeps getting new fronds and once it stops yielding it stays put It may not even give out new fronds

@allknowing Coconuts have many uses, mostly food, drink and essential oils, as well as other medical applications. But I understand that there are building uses also.
