I had posted before that I was doing well on the Bourbon Trail $5 lottery scratch-off tickets.
I tucked away $50 in winnings and kept buying new ones with the other $20 in winnings and they kept paying for themselves/coming out even.
Until today. I bought two $5 scratch-offs with a $10 winning ticket and neither one was a winner.
That's it. I'm out. I won't pour out good money after bad. I know when to quit.

Gambling is the fastest way to lose our hard earned money. It's really important to set a limitation and quit early before everything is gone.

I agree with you. It is important to know when to stop.

I don't like to lose either. When we went to the casino in Erie, I lost interest in the slots early on. I watched while my husband played.

I think the title of the post does infact say it all
Knowing when to stop is what it's all about if you decide to gamble in the first place.
I haven't placed a bet for a long time, or gone to bingo or played the lottery.
But when I did I actually did know when to stop.
And I am really glad that you know when to stop as well
I have a pal that lost everything because he gambled
Home, job, wife, kids,
Not worth it

@looeyville know when to hold them, know when to fold them. The gambling industry banks on people not having your self discipline.
