Obituary on the main residential building's door. Do you see that often in your place?

A man aged 28 and it says he died under sudden circumstances. Funeral is on Wednesday in a nearby graveyard but guess what, i didn't know him. On the photo he even looked older, he had some kind of beard but i don't know on which floor he was living and not sure, according to the photo, if i ever saw him. I usually go out in the morning, maybe some additional stuff in the early afternoon and that's it for me. It is also sad how we know more about malicious and rude neigbours like neighbour next to me on the left and one below me; i simply asked them about the noise and their things on the hall and got bad words from their mouth. Evil ones. I think this is the third death in my building and it's a man again. I remember 2 eldery men died, one of whom was a nice older neigbour, i think probably ill who always said hello to me and we talked about weather the most (my kind of neighbour). I know that other neighbour next me on the right, my flat is set in a middle, is a smoker cause whenever he comes out, the stairs always smell of cigarettes. other neighbours below are maybe one young couple and on the right are maybe 2 brothers or a father and a son. Both flats had some loud music 2 years ago but they were polite and they shut it down. I'm on the 5th floor and they are on the 4th. On the 3rd floor, i think i only know one elder lady whom i say hello and once tried to start a small talk but i think neither of us was feeling it and it's better not forcing things sometimes. In the same floor on the right, there was some police intervention last year so i think another elder person is living in there or not. In the middle is a middle aged lady with a son or who hosts birthday parties or she used to and has a parrot or some other cage bird; i hear it in the morning. Second floor and flat on the right had renovation and i think these are the new ones and i think a family of 3 lives there. In the middle is one middle aged neighbour who always smiled at me, a bit of eery dude but lately i haven't seen him. On the left, not sure who lives there. On the first floor, flat on the left also has new residents or resident cause they got the new doors and flats in the middle and on the right, i also have no idea who lives there. And the landing floor is where building representative is, a rude folk too, 1 eldery couple next to the building's doors and also one flat that changed doors but i think they lived there before so, it is hard to know your neighbours, at lelast here and maybe that is a good thing cause, they don't seem that trustworthy or nice, sadly and who can rely on bad neighbours after all. Still, it's a shame when a young person dies. P.s. an online example of obituary here. If someone under 18 died, obituary frame is light blue then. Usually, it's black. People can put a photo but they don't have to.

it is. you read about things in the news and then, when it happens near you, it is different and real.

i think not but flats are really small. if they are like my own, 38 squares, you don't have enough place for many peoplealso, it would be better if there are less residents cause the water bills, which are joint, would be lower but, i can only dream of that

No, I've never received an obituary on my apartment door.

It might happen in a building where others knew the deceased but not on individual private houses

you are right, on individual private houses, there is no need.
