Heyyy there, everyone. As some of you may know, if you’ve read my previous posts, I’m cat and house sitting for a close friend for the week. I was dropped off on Saturday night. This was perfect because they had time to show me everything, and we all had time to hang out for a while. We ordered pizza and chatted while their toddler (who’s so adorable) watched his shows. After they put the little one to bed, we hung out for a short while before calling it a night ourselves. And yes, I have my own space. I did the usual — watched The Golden Girls and fell asleep. The next morning, they got ready and showed me a few last-minute things before heading out. Then, it was just me and the kitty. They had already fed and changed his water, so I only had to worry about his evening feeding and scooping his litter box yesterday. He’s not as social with people as my cats, so I just let him have his space. As for me, I ate lunch, took a nap, filled out my weekly planner, ate dinner, watched TV, and grabbed a shower. I probably turned everything off and headed upstairs around 10ish. Now, let’s get to today… Kitty has hissed at me a few times, but I think he’s just confused and wants his space, so I’m giving him his space. It’s going to be our first FULL DAY together. He has everything he needs for now, and I think he’s hiding upstairs. My friend told me not to feel obligated to give him contact right now. I agree, I think he needs time. My sister is coming over for a bit (I have permission for guests, but I’m only inviting people my friends know). She's bringing me Dunkin and picked up some groceries for me (the place was stocked; I just needed a few more things). Once she leaves and I finish these writing orders, I’ll see what else I feel like doing online. Other than that, I’m planning to wash a load of clothes, exercise, and relax. Alrighty, I’m gonna go finish this writing order. I won’t have much else to say until later anyway. Also, I won’t be posting pictures of kitty because it’s not my pet to post.
