Good Morning!

It has been a pretty good week, I have to admit that. It's been a good sale week. Quite a few windspinners have gone for both teachers and moms. I gave the customer her custom Mother's Day tumbler and she loved it. It always makes me happy when they love what I made them. I didn't even finish computer work yesterday because I've got so much running through my mind. I have the flyers mocked up on the computer for the open house on the 31st. I just need to add a few pictures and get some printed out. I think I can pull it off, it won't be what I had originally planned but as long as it actually happens. Tomorrow is all about training. To move up I have to step up and this is a time to show it. I took the two water training classes before this huge one, plus the online course they put together so it's time to step up and rock this training. I can do this. I know what to do, I just need to not get nervous. I have stage fright lol. I'm trying very hard to finish Beauty From Pain by Georgia Cates. It's a decent book but slow. I think it's because I've been reading things that have more spice and more danger and this one is a little more vanilla. It's just slow to me so I'll be happy when I finish it. I'll probably still read the other books in the series just to find out what happens but I can wait until I can afford them. According to Goodreads I'm 12 books behind on my goal but I can catch up...I think. I have gotten ganged up on and since I bought an AEMT book from McKays when I graduated EMT-B, I have officially started studying. Between my friend Kristie who just happens to be the instructor for every med class I've taken, and my husband, I will be prepared for when this class actually starts. The book itself is out of date but it'll still give me the basics I need to not look stupid when the class starts. June starts EMR and I'll be helping with that class. I'm really excited. New doors are opening for me and I think it's pushing my husband as well. He's back at his GED now that he has a little time again. They're still calling for rain on the 17th so I'm pretty scared of this event. I spent eighty dollars on this spot and if I don't break even it wasn't worth it. Really if I don't make anything it won't be worth it but it'll hit a little harder if I don't break even. My spot sucks but I'm hoping that I have enough people that follow me on Facebook that might show up. Maybe the forecast will change again. All babies are doing amazing. I'm kind of worried that two more females are pregnant. It would explain the personality shift in my pen. I'm really hoping I can get this cat house sold soon though and get my males fixed. I was really hoping to do it a lot sooner than now but money is an issue. Someone told me I could file as some kind of cat sanctuary but I don't know about that. Mother's Day is Sunday and we're all going out to dinner. My husband is trying to get my mom's...it's just easier to go along with it...garden done but the rain doesn't help. Since he missed work yesterday he spent all day up at grams mowing her yard. It really needed to be done and it was such a beautiful day. The house needs cleaned as usual so I'll probably spend the time I have at the house on Sunday doing that. We sent in to Bradford and Hamilton a few things to get. I'm hoping that they also send me a bill for the harry Potter Lamp. We haven't paid that but the bill got lost and now I don't have one. We're trying to get the Hogwarts Challenge Coin, start the Star Trek ship pin collection and there was a Cinderella piece. So two out of three are just items while one is a collection. The Star Trek is for my dad and I hope he likes them. I'm hoping things will get better financially soon. It's been really rough and finding the light at the end of the tunnel has been hard. We're pushing through though. Finding a way to still find the joy in every day. Things will get better I know they will. What is everyone else up to today? Any plans for the weekend?

When I was an author, I'd rent booths at events to try to sell my books. I preferred the indoor venues. Outdoor venues were never certain due to weather. And they weren't as comfortable (and didn't have bathrooms).

I don't like outdoor events because our weather is constantly rainy. However that's about the only ones we have and I had to give it a shot. I still have to even if the rain comes like they say. It's just going to suck.
