Hi friends, the potato plant is now out of control. That’s a regular light bulb in that lamp. I have a grow light, but it got to the point where I’m not even allowed to switch bulbs anymore. Yep, it seems to get everything it needs from a regular light bulb, and then some. I’m guessing those wild leaves will be photosynthesizing from… below (?) The light bulb is warm, not hot. So that’s one good thing. Just wanted to share the goofiness. I know I said I’d be back last weekend to answer responses in my discussions, but my job had me go thru a very advanced security check (they’re scared to death of bots) and I somehow managed to pass that check with a higher score than any other field agent. So now that they have full trust, they’ve been throwing me studies and assignments left & right. Not even the easy stuff like field study store reports. This is all governmental and I can’t speak a word of it to anyone. I’ll hit up those discussions once I can take a breath. My dad told me to stop and smell the roses. Instead, I stopped and noticed what this crazy potato plant has been up to while I’ve been working away. Hope you enjoy the pic and have a great weekend!

It’s a potato plant that started from a single potato I found at the bottom of my garbage can. Not garbage bag, I mean the can itself. Was probably in there since we were at the old (and awesome) house. It had those sprouted eyes already so I just stuck it in a flower pot w/some dirt, and it’s using my lamp as sunlight. Unfortunately, it’s growing above and beyond the light bulb. No clue how the top leaves will get light as they keep growing taller and taller. But I’ll just leave it be - it seems to know what it’s doing. Thanks Always smilng

It is out of control. But it already produced one potato. I see it sticking up out of the dirt. It’s still green. Thanks Judy
