Funniest Ways You Embarrassed Your Parents?

I remember a story my mom told me from when I was about four or five. We were visiting some family friends, and when my dad said, “Well, we have a few things to do and some places to go,” I interrupted and said, “No we don’t — we’re going to my house!”

Well, I don’t have children, but I do remember embarrassing my mother once. She had taken me shopping (I was four) with my older sister (6), and we were going through the (department) store looking for my dad a birthday present. We weren’t having any luck, so my mom just pointed to a pair of boxer underwear and (teasingly) said maybe we should give up and just get him that.
The next day at church my Sunday school teacher came up to my mom and said, “I heard your husband was getting new underwear!”
Apparently, my four year self had felt the need to tell my teacher and other kids my mom was getting my dad new underwear for his birthday.
