I thought today was Mother's Day! I am so bored
My grown kids have other things to do that include my grandkids. One granddaughter lives very far away.
My mother was supposed to come over today and spend a few days, but she cancelled.

I spent the day being lonely and depressed. Being a widow sucks. I hope you have a good day today.

Yes it does suck! I have been a widow for over 20 years now. But I have 3 grown kids, one I live with but she doesn't spend time with me. And I am home then most of the time by myself, can't go anywhere, except when I go to the doctors. And she can't understand why that upsets me. You have a good day too my friend.

@dfollin Thanks. The only place I go is to the doctors too, with an occasional dinner out. I hope I can continue that with 2nd cousin's daughter. 2nd cousin doesn't want to go out to eat anymore.
