Some years ago I was deeply involved in politics. I wasn't some mindless marcher, babbling, I was behind closed doors. An event occurred, and the Other Party, which was in power at the time, contacted the Party I belonged to and asked that we do nothing as the leader of the Other Party would resign. On my way home I ran into drooling supporters of the Other Party who were defending their leader's action. They had no idea that their Massa was being forced to resign tomorrow. I, who knew, but held it confidential, watched their performance. I found it remarkable that people who have no close ties to a political party or politician can proclaim as if they know, for a fact... when they know nothing. I did not visit them the next day when their Massa was resigned because I didn't want to hear their fantasies. Too many people may support a political party or a politician and know nothing at all whatsoever. Instead of recognising this, they babble as if they have some connection or information, perhaps fooling those as stupid as they are, but making a fool of themselves A great deal goes on behind closed doors, from how to frame a statement to an action, to a distraction, etc. If you aren't behind those closed doors, babbling about what you don't know and making an idiot of yourself is standard
