It is Mother's Day here in the Neon Fun Jungle, Radio Rangers. That means it's time for a PSA style reminder: If you have a MAGAT(s) in your life, remember to CEO (Cancel, Exclude & Ostracize) them.
On family-centric days like this, it is more important than ever to demonstrate that dangerously willful stupidity and reckless irresponsibility are high key undesirable and will not be tolerated.
Those affected will likely tearfully protest that they have a right to their own opinion. But they really mean that they feel they have a right to their own facts, however false and imaginary they may be.
They do not have a right to them.
Economies are being ruined, rights are being demolished, and people are dying, all because these people are too stupid to see an obvious scam.
The worst part is that there is nothing you can do about it. Except for CEO. This is a golden opportunity to inflict so much emotional pain and suffering on these cretins that they will think twice or even three times. the next time they have an urge to cast a vote for a convicted felon who's going to ruin everything.
True, it is closing the barn door after the horses have gotten out, but we will, one day, get more horses and we don't want to go through this again. So, stop the idiocy now!
Nip it in the bud! Nip it! (Barney Fife, Hard Monday, January 1, 1962)
With that in mind, let's go to Single Barrel Saturday, August 19, 1972, to see what the Cosmic Universal Anthem Song Of The Month Club Anthem Song for today is.
Here is the Mama that matters the most, Mama Cass.
John Denver is there, too, but don't be alarmed. It's a very good, nearly perfect performance.
And don't get freaked out by the Midnight Special being on Saturday instead of Friday. Keep in mind, it was the 70s. Don't be mad. They didn't do it on purpose, just to annoy you. Most of the people there were drunk. And the rest were stoned.
And don't be fooled or misled by what John and Cass say. In 1972, it didn't really matter who you voted for, because the worst that could happen would be four more years of Tricky Dicky.
SPOILER ALERT:: Nixon did win that year ((Honestly, no less. He didn't steal the election)), but because Congress, the Senate, and our court system still worked, he only lasted until 1974.
Things have radically changed since then, and now, who you vote for matters a lot.

Mother's Day was in March in the UK. I bought my Mum a soft pink kitten with "Best Mum" on it.
