So, my phone didn't go off before I got up. Now, I'm kind of expecting a call for a medical thing, so I've put the ringer back on. And I've been answering them, well, when I wasn't in the car or in the doctor's office.
So, I got this very scratchy notification that $1000+ had been charged to my card. Press 1 if you did not, press 2 if you did. I hung up.
Well... it called me back twice! I hung up the first time and pressed 1 the second time. Some woman answers "Amazon..." and stuff. Then like how can I help you.
I said, no joke, "You are a scammer."
As you might expect, she hung up.
I did go and look at both Amazon and my bank after the first call. I knew I hadn't ordered anything like what would cost that much. And, yeah, it was a scam and both accounts were fine.
You ever get those calls? I decided I was tired of the calls so I was going to confront someone just to stop them!
(Oh, later I got a call of someone looking for the owner of some property that I don't even know where is at. Told her I'd had this number for over 25 years.)

Hi.
I never get calls\texts like that because my phone will not take calls/texts from anyone or any business or anything at all not on my contacts list.
But oh boy do I get a load of scammer emails.

At least with emails you don't need to speak to anyone.
Just delete and carry on

It almost always is. Now, I did have a scammer get into my account and I called the bank and closed it, well, it will be closed after I get SSI to go into my new account. But no withdrawals can go out of the account. I get those paypal ones too, except I don't have any money in there, so...
