Finally done for the day.

We were on the go from around 10:30 until about 4:30. Then I started dinner, which needed a bit of babysitting. If you read the post before this one, you’ll know I made ribs, roasted potatoes, and cornbread rolls. I also threw together some baked beans. While I was in the middle of making dinner, she child announced that she needed cash for her field trip tomorrow—because of course she waited until we were home instead of mentioning it while we were in town near an ATM. ?? After dinner, we made a quick trip to Dollar General so I could get some cash back. It actually worked out, since Rebel needed dog food and we had a few other things to pick up anyway. We just got back, and I’ve already put away the cold stuff. I still have a few more things to put away once I finish this. At least I don’t have to do dishes tonight—I bartered with she child at DG: bought her a couple of things she wanted in exchange for dish duty. Just when I thought I was done, she came outside and asked if I’d make brownies. So, it looks like that’s happening in a bit. ??
