Farmers need the rain for their crops

I don't very often watch the news but whilst i am typing it is on so i am catching small snippets of what is being said.
Whilst we have been enjoying this glorious sunshine, the farmers have been waiting for the rains to come.
I grow fruits and veggies at home so on a small scale i do understand as my crops need watering often at the moment.
We do sometimes forget about the farmers crops....until they say prices are going up etc.
Let's hope we can have the rain needed ....then more sunshine.

Growing vegetables at the backyards always cut down the expenses . The beauty of having grown veggies at home is when you go to vegetables' market you started to feels like almost you have now which you want to buy.

Well
Wall to wall sunshine forecast for Scotland for the next week at least.
Not good. We need rain soon.
Rivers are really low.
We passed some fields today and the soil was as dry as I have ever seen soil

@traceyjayne We’ve got rain here in Greece - just a spot or two though. I do hope my son has remembered to water my flowers and veggies in Ireland.
