Do Humans Really Need Friends?

I have about 5 people in my life that I have known for over 30 years who I can actually say are my friends. If 4 of them left and only one stayed, I would still consider myself lucky to have that one friend that I could count on.
I believe everyone needs at least one good friend in their life to keep them sane, active, loved, and friendly.

Having even just one true friend makes a huge difference. It’s not about the number, but the quality of connection. You’re lucky to have those long-time friendships!

I wish i can find a best friend meanwhile also the destined rival, like Leibniz and Newton.I have no one to share my passion on Chinese Literature. These years,i walk alone on the way chasing the dream of being Chinese John Keats.
If there is a Chinese Percy.B.Shelley becoming my friend and surpassing my achievement,i will be very happy. Finally now i am not the only one on the top of the Snow mountain
