I mentioned a few days ago that a neighbour had offered me some cherry tomato plants. Well, we collected them on Saturday and tomorrow we plan to re pot them. We have three plants and there are already some flowers on a couple of the plants. I am hoping for a bumper crop this year. Do you grow any fruits or veggies .....

I was thinking earlier that that's something I need to get for salads. My grandma grew both plants (flowering & non) & veggies. I don't think I inherited her green thumb. I've only lived one place where I had a little spot to grow anything. So put in some jasmine. That did well. I haven't had much success with houseplants. How long have you been gardening? Is it something that you learned from your parents and/or grandparents?

Yes, my parents taught me lots about gardening. My Dad was great with fruit and veggies as well as plants which he used to grow from seed....keeping some from the previous years to sow the following year. My Mom is the flower Queen and still at the age of 87 keep her garden looking amazing. I have always helped and had my own garden for the last 5 years.
