False Promises

They make promises every evening, but don't keep them.
I'm talking about clouds. Last five evenings have been cloudy and windy. Every evening clouds suddenly appear and cover the sky. The wind starts blowing fast. We hear thunders and see lightening. We expect a heavy downpour.
But it lasts hardly for half an hour Thereafter everything becomes normal. Clouds get dispersed, thunders stop.
We don't recieve a single drop of rain

We see clear signs of imminent rain every evening. Clouds cover the sky, there is lightening and thunders, wind starts blowing fast. We expect a downpour, but nothing happens. Clouds promises us rain, but don't keep their " words."

@sarik1 Yes, I've just watched it in the news It was very devastating storm. Last evening we had a heavy rain here, too.

Here every evening they suddenly come and cover the sky. You see every sign of imminent rain, but after some time they disappear without giving us a single drop of rain. You are right They are bad clouds Liars and cheaters
