That was a long day! Before I got to work today, the lady that calls and asks me if I can work wherever asked if, after I got off what has been my regular place today, I could go to an after-school care place. I said yes, and I thought that I knew how to get there, turns out I got on the wrong bus or was thinking of the wrong road or both. The bus I was on went all the way back to the bus stop across the road from me. I called and told the lady I'd be late, and she asked me where I was and said she'd come pick me up! So she did, and took me out to the place (which wasn't anywhere near the bus I had been on went) So, I got to work a bit longer, and then when we were done and the last kid went home, the lady who had picked me up drove me home. All that means I'll get paid a little more for today. My feet are hurting. I feel like I earned my pay today. Now, I need to get something else to drink, then later I might eat something for dinner. I have leftover mac'n'cheese that I made last night, so I may as well have that. Hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
