How often do you "pray"?

I usually pray at any time of the day, when needed. But I always pray at night. I don't go to mass every Sunday, though, and sometimes, I attend "meetings" or "adorations" - even of a different religion. I believe that religion should unite us and not divide us. What do you think about this concept?

I pray when someone here needs help. I also pray for my husband's soul quite often.

I agree with you about ‚ religion should unite us and not divide us‘. I pray any time of the day when I feel praying but don’t often go to the church.

Religion is one of the topics shunned upon because it does divide friends, and families. I do pray at night and upon waking up, I talk to God and pour my heart out especially when something is bothering me.

Yes, that's true, but why should we divide ourselves because of religion? Respect for one's beliefs is a good starting point to avoid division.

@Jenaisle you are right about that — respect. However, not everyone is able to give others that and some people would just impose their beliefs and that is sad to not be able to agree to disagree

I pray throughout the day, but find it essential for me to start the day off in prayer and end the day with prayer.

I pray all the time. My philosophy is to serve God continually. I wish that people spent more time serving God and less time serving their religion. (It seems that people are more pushing their religion on others instead of talking about God.)

That's a valid observation - a direct connection to God. I try to do this too.
