I’d always watched movies at home — on the TV, sometimes on a laptop with earphones in. It was nice. Comfortable. You could pause, rewind, grab a snack. The story was still there, and that was enough. But the first time I went to a theater, something felt… different. The screen was huge, the sound all around. No distractions, no phone buzzing, no doorbell ringing. Just the film — big, loud, and right in front of you. And somehow, that changed the way I watched it. At home, I watched movies. In the theater, I felt them. I didn’t realize it back then, but that quiet shift made me love stories even more. Not because they were told differently — but because, in that space, I gave them my full attention.
